Police looking for driver who left after collision

Paphos police are looking for a male driver who hit a pedestrian early but failed to provide his personal information.

The accident occurred at 10.10pm on Wednesday in Gladstonos street in Paphos, when a male driver hit with his right rear view mirror a 43-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the street.

According to the police, the driver initially stopped to check on the victim, and when he saw that he was only slightly injured left the scene.

The 43-year-old man suffered a minor injury to his ankle. He was treated in the accidents and emergency department of the district’s general hospital where he was also kept for further treatment.
