British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Friday he was sure he would still be prime minister in October, following questions over his future after being fined by police for breaching the strict lockdown rules he set during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Asked during a news conference in India whether he would still be prime minister in October, when he wants to have completed a free trade deal with India, Johnson replied: “Yes”.
