A tipsy cocktail party in the Leventis tower roof garden

Ever partied at night at an art gallery? Probably not as it is a rather unusual experience and something that sounds like it comes from the A Night at the Museum film. Yet one exciting event arriving this month is not a movie but a real-life happening in Nicosia!

For a while now, the AG Leventis Gallery team has been offering The Tipsy Curator series online, uploading videos that discuss the gallery’s artwork and share favourite cocktail recipes. The series hosts museum educators as well as guests in an effort to promote art through a different approach.

On the 2022 International Museum Day, the gallery had scheduled to celebrate it with a cocktail party open to all. The event had to be postponed though and now its time to shine has arrived.

On Wednesday, July 27 The Tipsy Curator cocktail party will finally happen, taking guests to the rooftop garden of Leventis tower. Fifteen floors above Nicosia, guests will enjoy panoramic views and refreshing cocktails from selected barmen. On the decks, DJ Twstd will play retro sounds to complete the evening and celebrate this innovative action of the AG Leventis Gallery.

The 9pm party has a €25 ticketed entry which includes an open bar of signature cocktails as well as charcuterie, cheese and fruit platters. What a way to wrap up a fun online art project!
