In today’s episode, a meeting to evaluate the new data emerging, as well as how prepared Cyprus is to deal with monkey pox, has been organised for today at Nicosia General Hospital by Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantela.

Elsewhere, scorching temperatures will continue through Monday, according to a new yellow weather warning from the met office. The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius again inland.

In other news, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said there is no room for optimism regarding the prospects for the resumption of a meaningful and credible negotiation process on the Cyprus problem due to unacceptable Turkish claims.
