14 businesses booked without relevant licences

Police booked 14 businesses in Polis Chrysochous over their lack of liquor, music, and operating licences in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

According to Paphos CID chief and police spokesman Michalis Nicolaou, from Tuesday midnight to 3am Wednesday morning, in a coordinated operation, members of Polis Chrysochous police and Paphos crime prevention unit checked 25 businesses in Polis Chrysochous.

Of the 25, it was found that 14 of them did not have relevant licences including liquor, operating or music licences.

Coordinated operations will continue at a later stage.
