Deadline for Arakapas fire compensation extended

The agriculture ministry on Tuesday announced that the deadline for submitting an application to the state support scheme for farmers who lost their crops in the Arakapas fire in July 2021 has been extended to August 31.
Affected farmers working in the villages of Arakapas, Eptagonia, Akapnou, Dierona, Odou, Ora, Melini, Sykopetra and Vavatsinia were called upon to provide the necessary documents to the relevant department of the agriculture ministry.
In particular, they were asked to provide the most information possible regarding the lost crops.

For additional information, farmers were asked to contact the district agricultural office at the following telephone numbers: 25874031, 25874070, 25803927 and 25803912 for those living and working in the Limassol district, 24202861 and 24202857 for those living and working in the Larnaca district.
