Motorcyclist critically injured in Larnaca

A 27-year-old young man is being treated at the Nicosia general hospital in critical condition following a motorbike accident on Sunday.

According to police, at around 9.30pm on Sunday the motorcycle driven by the young man on the Ayia Napa – Rizoelia highway, under conditions being investigated, was dragged off course and overturned on the asphalt.

The 27-year-old was initially transferred to Famagusta general hospital, where it was found that he had suffered a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage. It was then deemed necessary to transfer him to Nicosia general hospital, where he underwent surgery and was kept for further treatement.
