A 22-year-old man was arrested in Nicosia on Wednesday after being found to be in unlawful possession of methamphetamines and a gun.
Police discovered the drugs during a traffic stop, with the quantity of methamphetamine amounting to around two grams.
A subsequent search of the man’s house led to police discovering a loaded pistol.
The man remains in custody, and police are investigating the matter.
