Police looking for man after another injured with knife

Paphos police were seeking a 23-year-old man on Thursday suspected of injuring another man with a knife during an argument.

The incident, according to police, happened on Wednesday afternoon in a restaurant in the Tombs of the Kings area.

A 22-year-old man, who works as a cook at the restaurant, told police that after a row with the suspect, the latter took a knife and slightly injured the cook close to the left eye.

Police went to the scene but could not find the suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The cook went to hospital where he received stitches for his injury.
