The problem-solving skills of a hungry racoon

In this video, we witness the natural intelligence and resourcefulness of racoons, as demonstrated by a member of the species called Rascal.

The racoon is a medium-sized mammal native to North America. Three of its most distinctive features are its extremely dexterous front paws, its facial mask and its ringed tail.

Noted for its intelligence, studies of the racoon reveal that it can remember the solution to tasks for at least three years. It is usually nocturnal and omnivorous.
