Coronavirus: Casinos reopen as measures eased

Cyprus Casinos (C2) announced the reopening of locations on Monday after having been shuttered for over half a year due to the coronavirus restrictions.

The casinos sought to reassure customers that strict health measures are being adhered to and will be expected throughout their operation.

The Limassol casino launched in 2018 while a slew of other branches opened since, from Paphos, Ayia Napa to Nicosia.

Last week, the health ministry updated its guidelines; stating that casinos can open from Monday at 30 per cent of their capacity.
