New members of parliament should prioritise improving public health, the Federation of Patients’ Associations of Cyprus (Osak) said on Monday.

The interests of the people must be protected with sensitivity concerning “public health, economy, justice, education and security,” Osak added.

Osak stressed “the right to equal, non-discriminatory access to quality health services for all citizens of the country.”

The patients group called for constructive cooperation with the president of the House and all MPs to promote bills, initiatives, and actions to improve the very important health sector.
