New nature trail for remote Pyrgos area

The new Ayia Tylliria nature trail in the Pyrgos area was opened on Thursday by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios in the village of Pigainia.

The path starts from Sahana Cliff in Pigainia and ends at Ayia Marina church in the village of Mosfili.

Perdios said the trail will boost the area’s tourist sites, while maintaining its natural beauty.

The president of the Nicosia tourist development board (Etap) Theodoros Kriggou thanked the forestry department for completing the trail so promptly. The project only started in March.

Etap mainly sponsored this trail, with the co-financing of the of Pigainia and Mosfili community councils.
