Woman allegedly tried to pervert the court of justice, remanded by court  

Α 57-year-old woman was remanded in custody by the Paphos court for three days on Tuesday on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice in a case involving her daughter.

The woman was arrested after police determined that she had allegedly tried to influence a fraud investigation. Police said the woman tried to convince the complainant to withdraw the case against her daughter.

The attempt was made through a third person.

The suspect’s daughter is currently held in connection with the case.
