Coronavirus: More than 3,700 checks see 30 people, 12 businesses booked

Police said it carried out more than 3,700 checks in the past 24 hours and booked 30 people and 12 establishments for various violations of health and safety measures.

According to a statement, officers booked 30 people mainly for failing to wear a protective mask.

They also reported the managers of 12 establishments after staff were found without a SafePass or had not been wearing a mask, or their customers were caught dancing.
