Ayia Napa business closed down for operating without a license

Famagusta district court ordered the temporary closure of an Ayia Napa business that was operating without the relevant license from the deputy ministry of tourism and without a liquor permit, police said on Thursday.

The court issued the order on Wednesday, after following a request by police to suspend the operation of the establishment until the case goes to trial.

The court order was served to the person in charge of the business, who suspended its operation.

The first hearing of the case is set for Friday, police said.
