Jazz and blues events wrap up the month

moonriver live

As another busy month awaits ahead, November in Paphos concludes with jazzy performances. Saint Giorgo Restaurant in Chlorakas has two evenings of live jazz and blues planned for November featuring local musicians from around the island.

This Sunday, the Ioanna Troullidou Quartet will take over the restaurant’s stage for a midday performance starting at 2pm. Ioanna Troullidou on vocals, Christos Yerolatsitis on the piano, Irineos Koullouras on double bass and George Koullas on the drums will present jazz classics.

The following Sunday another lunchtime performance is taking place at Saint Giorgio and is the last one for the month, with the Moonriver Swing & Jazz Band. Michael Antoniou and his band, Renad Nourmanchine, Sergie Sergienko and Elias Ioannou, will perform classic songs from the Great American Songbook. Come December plenty more music events will take place at Saint Giorgio. Continuing the weekend lunchtime live music, more jazz and blues bands will perform as well as several festive performances playing Christmas classics and traditional holiday music from around the world.
