Greek Cypriot who unfurled flag in north remanded for three days

A Greek Cypriot man who tried to unfurl a Greek flag in the north on Thursday has been remanded in custody for three days, Turkish Cypriot media reported.

The man was trying to unfurl a Greek flag at a roundabout inside the old town of Famagusta when he was detained.

He was remanded for three days, facing charges relating to indecent behaviour.
