A 35-year-old man who was found driving under the influence of drugs in Paphos was arrested for illegal possession of property, police said on Friday.

Traffic officers stopped the car of the suspect for a check around 8.30pm in Chlorakas on Thursday.

The man tested positive to a preliminary narcotest and officers took an additional sample to be tested at a state laboratory.

During a search in his car, four aluminium wheel rims were found for which the man could not provide sufficient explanations, police said.
