Part of clubhouse in Xylofagou collapses, no injuries

The cantilever of a building in Xylofagou, collapsed in the early hours of Sunday, police said.

No one was injured as the building, which functions as a local club, was closed.

According to the fire service, they received a call at 12:51am to say the cantilever had collapsed.

They searched the building in case there was anyone inside but it was empty.

The scene was guarded all night by the police and investigations were underway Sunday morning by police, and experts from the technical chamber Etek.
