Paphos police on Thursday said they are looking for three people who are wanted on suspicion of assaulting and injuring a 43-year-old man.

Investigations started late on Wednesday when police received information around 9.15pm of an injured man in Tremithousa.

A police patrol car arrived at the scene and found the 43-year-old man injured. He told police that while he was there with his friends, three men, aged 23 and 49, as well as another man whose identity remains unknown, allegedly attacked him.

Further investigations showed the man had financial differences with the men.
