Paphos police probe house burglary

Paphos police are investigating a burglary and the theft of passports, cash, and jewellery from a safe, the Cyprus News Agency reported on Tuesday.

It said that a little after midnight, a 53-year-old tourist reported the burglary of a home in Peyia sometime between 8.00 and 10.30 pm on Monday.

According to the complaint, a safe had been taken from the home. In it were five UK passports belonging to the complainant and his family, €260 in cash and four gold rings worth €500.

Police investigations continue.
