Paphos encouraged by airlines’ winter flight plans

The Paphos tourism board (Etap) is satisfied with the town’s air connectivity for the coming winter period, it said.

Etap managing director Nasos Hadjigeorgiou said that despite the fact that the winter period will be difficult, he finds it encouraging that both Ryanair and easyJet, the airport’s primary users, have quite extensive flight schedules during this time.

He mentioned that these two airlines connect Paphos to 35 other airports and carry out approximately 100 inbound flights every week.

Hadjigeorgiou added that Paphos airport’s connections include a number of destinations across Europe and the Middle East.

These include strategically important locations in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France, Poland and Israel.

“The Paphos tourism board, together with the travel agencies that we represent and cooperate with, remain positive,” Hadjigeorgiou said.

“We are focused on our goals for the continuous enrichment and qualitative upgrading of the experiences that we offer while intensifying efforts to strengthen Paphos’ air connectivity,” he concluded.
