TUS Airways will operate new routes from Cyprus to Greece’s Heraklion in Crete and more flights connecting Larnaca and Paphos airports to Israel’s Tel Aviv, it announced on Friday.

The airline said the Larnaca-Heraklion route will start on December 16, with flights twice a week, on Monday and Friday, with fares starting at €59 one way.

The number of flights between Larnaca and Tel Aviv will be increased to nine a week, with two from Paphos.

TUS Airways will also start operating new flights connecting Tel Aviv to Athens on December 14, and Thessaloniki on December 15.

“After a successful summer season, with a record number of flights and having carried over 200,000 passengers across Europe and the Middle East, we are announcing the launch of three new routes to Greece this winter,” CEO of TUS Airways Ahmed Aly said.

“Ahead of the festive season in December, TUS Airways will offer new flights connecting Cyprus and Crete, with the aim of providing passengers with a quality product at attractive fares.

“Being the only airline operating between Larnaca and Heraklion, we aim to support and develop businesses between Cyprus and Crete, as well as connecting families and strengthening the island’s tourism sector.”
