The Kofinou fire service responded to a call shortly after 1am on Wednesday involving a fire that broke out in a residence in Mazotos.
According to an official statement, the fire service responded with two fire trucks and extinguished the blaze. The fire burned two rooms with plasterboard walls as well as their wooden floors.
Police cordoned off and secured the scene and investigations are underway to establish the fire’s causes.
