Today’s Weather: Mostly sunny, ice warning

On Monday morning the weather will be mostly sunny with some locally increased cloud cover expected after noon. Police have issued an ice warning for mountain roads and drivers are urged to be cautious on roads leading to Kykkos and Troodos. Winds will be mainly north-easterly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and the sea will be somewhat rough. Temperatures will rise to 20C in the interior, 21C on the coasts and 13C in the higher mountains.

On Monday night the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly north-westerly to north-easterly, light, to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain somewhat rough. Temperatures will drop to 5C in the interior, 9C on the coasts and 3C in the higher mountains, where localized frost will form.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be mostly clear with temporarily increased cloud cover in some regions.

Temperatures are not expected to change appreciably continuing to hover above average for the season.
