Drunk arrested for creating disorder in Paphos

A 52-year-old man has been arrested drunk in Paphos for disturbing the peace and causing public disorder, police said on Monday.

According to Paphos police chief Nicos Tsappis, on Sunday at 8pm officers visited Emba after receiving a complain, where they found a person who was intoxicated and causing concern.

The 52-year-old man was then arrested for the offences of causing a disturbance, drunkenness, disturbing the peace and insults.

He was taken to Paphos central police station where he was charged in writing and released.
