Paphos club evacuated after hoax threat

A nightclub in Paphos was evacuated in the early hours of Sunday after it received a bomb threat, the Cyprus News Agency reported.

The club in Kato Paphos was evacuated around 2.45am after the call was received.

Officers from the bomb squad and canine units swept the premises but found nothing.

CNA quoted police saying the prank call had been made from a payphone.
