Petrolina to cover fuel cost of fire fighting aircraft

Cypriot fuel company Petrolina has informed the government that it will be covering the entire cost of fuel of all fire fighting aircraft battling a huge fire in the Solea area, reports said.

Around 16 planes and helicopters from Cyprus, Israel, Greece, and the UK are currently flying missions in the area.

Four more aircraft from France and Italy were expected on Tuesday afternoon.
