Call for information after dog found taped up at Kouris

The Agriculture ministry on Saturday called for information to locate those responsible for the abuse of a dog that was found with its snout and front legs tightly wrapped with duct tape near the Kouris reservoir in Limassol.

The ministry posted on its Facebook profile on Saturday photos of a dog with its snout and front legs tightly wrapped in black duct tape.

It was found in that condition by a passer-by near the Kouris reservoir.

The ministry called on any eye witnesses or anyone who may possesses information about the incident to report to the police or the state vet services.

“Such incidents must not go unpunished,” the ministry said.
