Planning a series of cultural events, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation is currently accepting proposals for creative collaborations from aspiring artists, science teams and educators. An array of activities is coming up at the Foundation and the Open Call is open to various art forms, styles and methods. “Find the niche that interests you,” says the Foundation, “and send your ideas by 16/04/2021.”

5th Arts Festival #Faneromeni 21

The success of the arts festival continues, this time partnering with the embassies as well as local and foreign artists, to explore ways of looking at history and traditions, merging a variety of arts into a celebration lasting four months in the town centre.

Some of the events featured in Faneromeni21 could be related to this theme: Two Centuries after the National Renaissance. The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation pays tribute to the heroes of 1821, highlighting Cyprus’ role in that struggle. Proposals may relate to any art form.

Series of alternative actions #TheRoof

A new series of alternative events, known as The Roof, beckons audiences to come up to the roof of the Cultural Foundation for inspiration. The series aims to present original works on the roof in Faneromeni that will liven up the space, offering the public an experiential experience. These again could be of any art form.

Series of events #Moments at the Museum

This series, taking place at the Cultural Foundation’s two museums, aims to give the public the opportunity to acquire new experiences by getting up close and personal with the exhibits of the museums’ collections. Musical, theatrical and other performances, poetry soirees, activities for children, as well as many other activities will be held at the museums, laying the foundation for a special voyage through knowledge and interaction. These events could also be linked to the heroes of 1821.
