Fire damages Anthoupolis chapel (updated)

A fire which which broke out at a chapel near the church of Chrysosotiros in Anthoupolis is under control, spokesman Andreas Kettis said on Twitter on Tuesday.

He said the chapel has suffered extensive damage. The heat and smoke also slightly affected the adjoining church of Chrysotiros.

Three fire trucks from Nicosia responded to the blaze.
