Nicosia street quest in German

1 (2)

How about a morning running around Nicosia’s old town, competing in a fun German street quest? This Sunday, the Cypriot-German Cultural Association organises a city quest Nicosia as part of the opening event of the Weeks of the German Language and invites the public to a fun morning of exploring.

The tasks of the quest are straightforward. Navigate to ten location points on the map of the old city and answer some simple questions in German. The game will take participants around Faneromeni square and its surrounding sites while learning German words. Even if you do not speak the language, the street quest is doable as it comes with a short vocabulary list. The questions will be provided in Greek, English and German, but the answers must be given in German.

The fun begins at 10am and in the three hours to follow teams or solo players need to answer at least seven out the ten questions correctly to enter the draw and have the chance to win a prize. More than 20 lucky participants will win vouchers for different stores and restaurants including Public Stores, Beer&Beer, B.R. Hub, Bamboo and Anamma. Children above 12 years old and adults can participate in the game. To register simply visit the Facebook page of the Cypriot-German Cultural Association.
