Paphos police book two drivers for drugs in 24 hours

Police in Paphos stopped two drivers found to be under the influence of drugs in the last twenty-four hours, authorities said on Thursday.

According to the police, the first was a 36-year-old man, who was stopped around 7:30 pm on Wednesday night, on Dionysiou Street.

The second was an 18-year-old man, stopped shortly after midnight on Thursday by traffic patrol officers in Chlorakas.

The men tested positive in narcotests and both drivers were charged in writing and released until their court hearing.
