Prozak celebrates 10th birthday with festive event

It opened in the spring of 2013 and slowly became a staple coffee-bar of Nicosia’s nightlife, and coffee culture. Mint lemonades, herbal teas and Cypriot cocktails are some of Prozak Kafeneio’s most popular menu options that bring friends and acquaintances back to the coffee shop week after week. This year, Prozak celebrates its 10^th birthday will host an event on May 26 that will last all day.

In the 10 years Prozak has been open, it has hosted more than 450 music events, talks, workshops, exhibitions, book presentations, poetry nights and open mics, serving countless brandy sours – a characteristic drink of the establishment.

On the last Friday in May, Prozak invites the friends and followers it has made over the past decade to celebrate the occasion together. The event will feature nothing too fancy, but the good old recipe Prozak has been following all these years – refreshing cocktails, a few bites, music and good vibes. On the decks on the evening will be DJs Annie, Yi-Yi and Xanaks. The event will start early, from 12pm, and will last until Prozak usual closing hour, 11pm.
