24-year-old sought in Paphos break-in

Police on Friday were on the hunt for a 24-year-old man for breaking into a Paphos home and stealing. Another individual aged 33 was also arrested in connection with the same case.

Deputy police assistant for police operations in Paphos, Michalis Nicolaou said a 22-year-old reported that between January 2 and 4, his home was broken into and electrical devices were stolen.

On-site investigations revealed that the that the break-in occurred through the back door.

Following a tip-off, Nicolaou said an arrest warrant was issued against the 33-year-old who was found with some of the stolen items.

The devices were identified by the 22-year-old.

During interrogations, the 33-year-old suspect named the man aged 24 as another individual involved in the burglary.
