Fund raiser to support struggling artistic community

The Pancyprian professional artists union (Pasynek) will hold an all-day fundraiser in aid of the Cypriot artist community at Rialto theatre on Saturday.

Participating acts will reflect the whole spectrum of the community, including performances by musicians and actors and livestreams of artists creating works to be auctioned off later, union head Giorgos Giorgalletos told the Cyprus News Agency.

“These are difficult times for many members of our artist community, so we are trying to raise as much as we can to help,” he said.

The event will be broadcast live from Pattihio theatre in Limassol from noon to 8pm on Saturday, with a second performance on January 30.

Tickets are available through www.soldoutticketbox.com. There is no fixed admission charge – instead, the audience is encouraged to donate.

All donations are welcome through text message or bank transfer.
