Paphos police are looking for an 18-year-old man in connection with the possession of a large number of rosaries.

He was named by a suspect arrested three days ago for the same case.

At around 7.45pm on Sunday, following a tip off, officers stopped a car driven by a 21-year-old man in Paphos and searched the vehicle.

They found a large number of rosaries inside the car.

The driver could not explain why he was in possession of the items and was arrested.

A test carried out after his arrest indicated he had been driving under the influence of drugs.

When he was questioned, he told police the 18-year-old gave him the items.
