New swimming pool planned for Kato Polemidia

(Christos Theodorides)

The Kato Polemidia municipality plans to build a new Olympic sized swimming pool in the Verengaria area, the Cyprus Sports Organisation (Koa) said on Friday.

The pool will be for athletes, citizens, and international purposes for sports tourism. Limassol nautical club coaches plan to offer programmes to young people, students, and disabled persons.

Koa president Andreas Michaelides met Kato Polemidia mayor Nicos Anastasiou on the matter on Thursday night.
