Biker hospitalised after collision

Famagusta general hospital

A motorcyclist has been hospitalised with serious injuries after an accident in Liopetri, in the Famagusta district, at 2.40 pm on Tuesday.

According to police, the 59-year-old motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a car driven by a woman and had to be rushed to the Famagusta general hospital.

The man suffered multiple fractures, according to the police and remains hospitalised while Xylophagou police station investigates the incident.
