Festive BBQ tastes to savour

The numerous lunches, dinners and tea parties of the season make sure that the kitchen table is never empty and our bellies always full – more than they probably should be. But who’s to complain? We are a nation that loves food and all that comes with it.

As if there wasn’t enough wining and dining this month, a week-long event is underway bringing new street food flavours to Nicosia. The Potbelly, a popular pulled pork joint on Stasandrou street, is organising Barbeque Gatherings until December 31. Delicious food and tasty booze to add to the month’s celebrations.

The Potbelly will offer a Christmas menu they have created just for this event. It features a steak sandwich, juicy cheese and spicy sausages and alcoholic beverages from its neighbouring bar across the street, Old Souls. “Note down the dates,” says the team, “and we’ll see you there!”
