Deal signed to lease old Larnaca hospital

The government and Larnaca municipal authorities signed a deal on Thursday by which the latter will lease the premises of the old hospital in the town.

Under the lease agreement, departments of Larnaca municipality will be housed at the old Larnaca hospital.

The hospital is state-owned.

Speaking after the signing of the deal, Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantelas spoke of a decades-long effort – dating back to the 1980s – to lease the premises of the old Larnaca hospital to the local municipality.
