Coronavirus: New helplines for Covid queries

As part of the efforts carried out by the health ministry to better inform people on what to do should they test positive to Covid-19 or become close contacts, a new helpline is now available in Cyprus.

The helpline is active seven days a week from 8am to 8pm. The numbers people can call are: 22421600, 22495671, 22495666, 22421745, 22570588, 22514264, 22514258, 22514259, 22771923.

Topics on which operators working the helpline can assist on include tracing contacts, unclear test results, mobile unit locations, as well as self-isolation and SafePass queries.

The health ministry also added that the general Covid-19 helpline reachable at 1474 is still open with the same hours as the newly established one.

People with severe Covid-19 issues are urged to call the 24-hours ambulance service at 112 or at 22887171.
