Police charge two undeclared workers in Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa police are investigating two cases of illegal employment after detecting two persons who could not provide proof of the necessary paperwork from the labour ministry.

The checks were carried out on Wednesday night and led police to charge in writing a 36-year-old and 21-year-old, who are now due to appear in court at a later date.

Earlier this week, it was reported that eighteen undeclared workers were uncovered by the labour ministry’s inspection department during its June campaign.
