A hunter trapped in a ravine, in the area of Stavrovouni, was rescued by members of Emak Kofinou, Cyprus’ search and rescue team on Sunday.

Rescuers used a special rescue harness to help the man, who is reported to be in good health.

The hunter was handed over to an ambulance crew for transfer to hospital for medical checks after the rescue operation.
