Coronavirus: Vaccination centre to operate in Palaichori on Saturday

A vaccination centre for Covid jabs will operate in the Nicosia village of Palaichori, administering Pfizer jabs between 9am and 1pm.

It will operate from the village’s health centre.

Meanwhile the health ministry on Tuesday announced a tweak in the timetable for Covid-19 vaccinations as of Wednesday.

Operating hours for walk-in centres are from 8am-2:30pm from Monday to Friday, apart from Kyperounta and Polis Chrysochous (details below).

The ministry reiterated that boosters recommended for those aged 12 years and above, provided that five months have elapsed since the administration of the previous dose.

It added that boosters are recommended after three months on from a positive test.

Identification documents (identity card, passport) and a vaccination card must be presented, while those under the age of 18 must obtain the written consent form of parents/guardians signed by both parents. (Greek / English form).
