Anastasiades appoints new judges to supreme court

President Nicos Anastasiades on Thursday appointed Judge Antonis Liatsou to the position of president of the Supreme Constitutional Court and Judge Katerina Stamatiou to the position of president of the Supreme Court.

He also proceeded to re-appoint the current judges to the two courts.

According to an announcement from the presidency, the appointments were made in view of the imminent implementation of the judicial reform and the operation from the first of July 2023 of the two courts.
