Car fire breaks out in Paphos in early morning hours

A car fire broke out on Monday in the early morning hours in Paphos.

According to Paphos CID at 3:35 am, police received a call about the fire which broke out in a Fiat company car, parked in the yard of a house.

Police and fire fighters responded but the fire was largely extinguished before their arrival by the owner, using water. A final extinguishing and inspection was carried out by the fire service.

The fire destroyed the exterior paint of the vehicle.

The case is under ongoing investigation.
