Police on Sunday morning arrested a 14-year-old teenager in connection with stealing a car and committing traffic offences in Limassol.
A 71-year-old man, a resident of Limassol, reported to police that on Saturday afternoon at around 4pm a youngster stole a bunch of keys from a table in the living room, among them the car keys.
He said the teenager then locked the door to the house, took the car and left.
At 1.25am on Sunday police found the stolen vehicle near the roundabout of the old harbour.
The driver was a 14-year-old boy without a license and insurance who didn’t wear a seat belt and was driving without the consent of the owner.
He was arrested to facilitate further investigations.
