Authorities issue dust warning

Authorities on Friday warned the public and especially vulnerable groups to take precautions due to the high concentration of dust in the atmosphere for the second day running.

Because of the small size of the dust particles and the potential effects on human health, especially on children, the elderly, and people with a compromised immune system, authorities recommended staying indoors until the phenomenon subsides.

Employers must also take the necessary measures to protect staff working outside.
